The procedure time will depend on your desired results but it typically takes 45-60 minutes per treatment.

We will advise you to avoid strenuous exercise that may put excessive pressure on the buttocks for 48 hours after the treatment. You may experience swelling, tenderness and bruising during the week after the procedure. The treated area can feel tender, much like a sore muscle after a workout. It is recommended to massage the treated area regularly to help induce even collagen production.

Patients may notice a subtle increase in volume or a slight improvement in the shape of the buttocks within 2-4 weeks. This is due to the initial distribution of the Sculptra® solution. The results will gradually become more apparent after week four as it's continuing to stimulate your body's collagen production. You'll experience a more noticeable improvement in volume, definition, and overall appearance of your buttocks around the 3-6 month mark post procedure. Patience is key with Sculptra® — exercise and maintenance sessions often lead to a faster and more significant improvement as collagen production accumulates.

This will depend on your desired degree of augmentation and contouring. Most commonly a single session is needed every 2-3 years. If additional augmentation is desired, a second session can be scheduled 3 months after the first treatment.
